Posted - 10/01/2009 : 23:07:44 Well, 6 or more months ago I spotted a nice looking Coastal Carpet Python, while out looking for a BRB, the wife, she said NO. Too big, too fast, blah blah blah....
Anyways, yesterday I went and swapped my corn and a little money, and brought home the very same CCP:
I bought him as a fussy eater, but he fed for me on Thrusday in the shop with no problems (fed small prey till he gets used to them for a while) He's a big lad for a eyarling, already over a mtr long (at a guess) I have to tell people, if you wanna SEE your snake, get a carpet python, they are NEVER in their hides!! Its great, he has taken Stigs 60hx45x45 and is permanently perched on high.
I have handled this snake for the last 6 months on and off everytime I went into the shop, and finally did what I should have back then.
