I have seen several BRB's in the flesh, and pictures of them, with purely black eyes. Is this something that happens with age? Jade is 1 year and a couple of months now and still has perfectly mean slitty eyes will this stay or disappear?

That impression stays. Some Brazilians just have darker eye colors, and/or the photo is taken from an angle that blurs the whole eye together.
