as for the pet shops, a lot of them will tell you what you want to hear to get another 50 quid or so into the till. something that folks wouldn't do if they realised they needed 2 complete setups

Thanks, will write down to get either when we next go shopping . And i agree with the pet shop, I've not had a good experience with the one in question.

I want to do the right thing, and i didnt know that he would be at it all the time :S

Stressing the female and possibly preventing her from being receptive to the males advances putting her off her food therefore jeopardising her chances of producing the nutrients for the production of eggs.

Males and females should only be introduced to each other for breeding purposes not cohabbing.

If the ability is there for separating snakes then that is whats best for the snakes.

Snakes in general are not social creatures.

Personally, I will not practice this, regardless of sex or age; entirely too many pitfalls as far as I'm concerned.

It was just a hypothetical question as some people have said you can and can't. What size vibarium is ok for a male and what size is ok for females when they are adult

Try reading these 16 pages! They should apply to any kinda snake really (kings being more likely to eat another snake though).
