ive been thinking of changing my wooden viv to a glass one for my brb.wot i would like to know is wots the best size tank for a 6ft snake and how do you stop the glass from crackin with using heat mats.help would b nice thanks.happy christmas everyone

Dirtyhog, take a look at plastic cages while you are at it. There are some good deals out there, and they avoid the main pitfalls of glass (poor heat retention, fragility, and lack of privacy (which Brazilians like)). Good luck!

There are heatmats out there specifically for Glass tanks, so long as you leave a bit of an air gap they will be fine.

as for size of tank possibly a 4ft would suffice.
