Clarification: the above measurements are for Brazilians, not Columbians...just noticed that. Columbians are smaller rainbows.

thats brilliant, mines only 600 grams, got told he would be ok top breed. think ill leave him for another year or 2

Ben, I've seen people try as young as age 2.5 and 1500 grams, but I think it is safer to wait and give them an extra years' growth. I have yet to breed anything younger than age 3.5 and 1800 grams (males) or 2100 grams (females).

As for length, I do not currently measure it, so unfortunately cannot help you.
