Hello all,
My brother and I are very interested in buying 2 Rainbow Boas one male and one female we reside in Toronto Canada.
I would greatly appreciate if someone could help me as they do not sell rainbow Boas in the pet stores here. Where I can buy 2 good baby rainbow Boas as well as if some one could give me a link to a website selling an ideal cage as well as accessories for the Rainbow Boa. As honestly I have no idea :) and have been looking for over a month now.

we paid £250 for my pair, but they are are very unusual they are iridesant in colour |

Around 90% is perfect, but they can handle high humidity at a young age - I'd try getting it down to about 80-90% when she's a bit older.
The dial ones aren't very accurate, so your digital one is the one you should trust  |

Ok i am new to this as well. My biggest question is that I have a brazilian rainbow boa and my cage is running humidity level of about 95-99%. I have a digital hygrometer on one side and a regular one on the other side. The digital one is always higher even if it is right next to the regular on.Is 95-98% too high for my 8 month year old boa. She is about 3 feet long. I have her in an aquarium with a fogger on a timer. Temp is around 75-81 degrees. Is my humidity too high for her? I forgot to mention that I have a waterfall on the other side that I only turn on when needed. Very much a newbie so please help. Any advise or suggestions would help |

Wow - I just converted that into pounds and it's £165 quid!
That's quite a lot. We normally pay about £100 - £120 so that's about $170ish 
I thought they would be cheaper over there because they have been captive breeding them for longer I think. |

Wow, I wish I had gotten my BRB from a breeder - I got mine for about $270, but I don't mind as it was a gift and she is well worth it :D |

I'm from Toronto and I picked up my BRB from breeders I found in classified Ads. Actually my last BRB was from a private breeder i accidentally stumbled upon.
Some pet stores do carry BRBs, you just have to call in and check, but I find that they are overpriced. The last BRB that sold from my store was about $300. I suppose in my case I was just lucky.

I would say your best bet is to look on the internet for classified ads for Rainbow Boas. You may get lucky, especially if you are willing to travel |

I think you'll find that most people on this forum are UK based, however, there must be some US breeders that can help you. |
