So.
Hot end at about 83, cool end about 76.
Depending on where I read, I get slightly different figures, so shese seem to be about right?

Substrate should be quite damp/slightly wet to the touch but no standing water.
Should it be uniform all over at both ends, or should there be a dry area too?

If I have plants, which will help with my humidity, repot them in coco fibre and fine orchid bar, but what plants are good please bearing in mind there is no uv light in this viv.

Take readings on the surface of the substrate, just below the bulb. If still valid, then those temps are fine.

I would have a dry area too, probably on the cold end.

Pothos is a great choice for a rainbow's tank.
