HI
Ther is lots of this moss growing on the mountains where i live,
Can i just soak it in clean water and put it straight in? i have read you have to cook it? But you can buy it fresh on ebay and they say you can use it fresh, any one know ????

i'd usually freeze 'portions' then defrost one by pouring boiling water over it........the extreme cold and heat should be enough to kill most nasties
