Posted - 09/09/2011 : 00:34:16 Continuing our “new arrivals” profiles, next up is a second new, as-yet-unnamed, adult male. He’s an interesting specimen, who actually looks rather average in indoor light, but takes on a pleasant orange glow when viewed outside. He came to us in early August. His age is estimated at eight years (and that looks about right from his head).
Here he is as of his early August arrival at Living Gems:

Posted - 16/09/2011 : 21:41:29 Thanks Clare! I typically name the boys after famous historical or mythological figures, and the girls after gems. I do indeed have a Malachite -- one of next year's breeders, in fact -- but no Kyanite yet. Thank you for the suggestions; I have to look that new one up! |

Posted - 09/09/2011 : 01:50:42 I can't offer any assistance for naming him. I named *my* orange snake 'Blue', and called another one 'Whiskers'
For some reason his orange hair makes me wanna call 'm Scottie, but at the same time Buttons is giving me a good vibe...go figure, lol. |
