See my other post regarding the weight issue. BTW, as a tip for the future, it's always best to only post the same query in a single thread, as it keeps the discussion centralized and focused. :-)

after asking around about the people i brought him off , they are a dodgy couple some1 ive spoken to brought 1 of the same people a couple of months back and they told her they hav only had 1 lot of brbs this year in april , so this makes him around 8 months old , i weighed him and he is 41 grams , apparently they was under feeding there snakes so they would stay small , would this explain why he wont eat , im worried now ive been told this

sorry was suppose to put they seem ok , the ambient temp is about 28 degrees c , my thermostat is set for a max of 30 degrees c for my heat mat and the cool end is swaying between 18 to 24 degrees c depending on time of day

Woah, what a looker!

Good for you for allowing him time to adjust.

Humidity should be a bit higher at 90% at his age.

By "OK," what temp do you mean? He should have a range of 82 high to 72 low.

he hasnt eaten since i got him . not to worried at the moment though as he needs the time to settle and adjust to his new viv n set-up , temps seem ok an humidity is about 83

They all look a little underweight at that size, don't worry about it. With a few meals under it's belt, it'll look a little more plump. These things are also known as 'slender boas' and Brazilians will always be more trim than some of their counterparts such as Columbians :)

this is the one i feel is under weight and was told it had never been handled but , put my hand in and picked him up without any fuss and he just happily sat on my hand while i got some pics ( even if they are a little poor quality )
