I have eventually bought myself a cb11 brb - fetched him today and took a couple of photos before putting him into his new home.

second photo is 'washed' out due to the flash

Thanks, was worried about removing last bit of shed from tail of a new snake, but he was brill. I have a corn which sometimes has problems shedding so new how to deal with the problem. Questions will no doubt arise along the way, but the breeder I bought him off was very helpful and happy for me to ring him if I got problems, so I can get help from all directions :)

Good eye on the shed, and good job removing it. Sounds like you have a great handle on what to do. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!!!

I was planning on leaving him alone for a week before trying to get him out and handle. By this time he will be well due a feed, last fed 11/04.
Only opening up to check water and spot clean if needed.
He was really good on arrival as I noticed he had some retained shed on his tail tip (visible in photos), so this was removed with wet paper prior to putting in his new home and he was ok with this.
I am really looking forward to getting to know the wee fella, sure to have loads of questions along the way.

Good-looking little fellow! Brazilians can be tough to phortograph well. I would let him settle in for a few days, feed him, and only then start handling. Best of luck with the new member of the family!
