I am so sorry that it has been so long since I stopped by here. I've been looking through all of the pictures that everyone has put up and I've got to say....WOW! :) I've got a few update photos of Marius that I took today. The weather was so nice out that I felt comfortable enough with taking him outside for a little shoot. Had the oddest thing happen to me with his last shed (which was about a week or two ago), some of his scales are turning white.  I tried to capture them in the pics, but he wasn't cooperating very much, so they are difficult to see. I'll try to point them out in the best ones. Anyway, here's Marius.
Not the best picture, but you can kind of see the white scales on some of his "crescent" markings near his neck.
He's even getting a touch of white on some of his back scales in the big round circles. They are very hard to see in this pic, because the glare of the sun makes it hard, but the big circle on his back that looks like a peanut, at the bottom...you'll see the white, it looks like glare from the sun, but it's not.

He was totally not happy with me letting go of him after putting him in my Aspen tree. :D
Looking sexy and he knows it. :D
Allllllmost caught the tongue.
He is almost more than one hand can handle anymore, lol.

Love the video! Me and the bf just watched it! It's really nice to see a brb properly in the flesh like that! Thanks for posting that vid! Arco is 333gramnes at the min!! Can't wait till she gets bigger!! We just started her on large rat weeners ! Thanks again for sharing your video x |

Thanks Dee. :) Yeah, he doesn't like to be put down (as is evidenced by the video I posted, lol, he's always trying to get back onto my arms) so the look he gave me was hysterical. |

Thanks so much, everyone. :) I'm still around, Bunny. I just take long breaks. lol! Cliff, as of tonight, Marius is sitting at 946 grams. :) The scales really are odd. Most of them just have a smidge of white. I am going to see if I can get some better macro shots of the scales themselves tomorrow. I'll post them here when I do. Thanks! |

Yeeeeeah a Marius update!!! He's looking so big and colorful now Jenn, wow! Do you know how much he weighs?
It will be interesting to see how those white scales develop. Odd that they are partial rather than whole scales though. |
