The female

The male

Sorry for the poor Pics, they were rushed as the wee buggers kept trying to escape (i almost typed leg it lol). The male was 4' the last time i measured, the unforunate thing is the female is still a worm so i have a good wait before i can breed them, they were also both on shop diet when i got them and were quite thin, i have them up to a better weight now.

I agree with you 100% Jonty. I try and collect scads of info on each animal I purchase. Great to know other people do the same! :-)

Thank you louise32

Snake sitter, it really irks me not to know the background on them, most of my snakes I have info on, hatch dates breeder feeding and shedding right through from neonates, most of them came from trusted breeders here in Ireland which makes it easier to get the information.

:-( Great finds, but I always find it disappointing when a shop does not know the history of the very animals it sells. You were smart to ask though!

Very nice pics of very nice paras!
jonty Posted - 24/01/2011 : 23:59:40
i picked them both up last year, the male in july and the female in august. i'm not sure about the ages of them, i wasn't able to get too much info on them from the shops where i got them, they looked under fed so that would make it difficult to guage what age they are by size.

They were a nightmare to photograph, they are very active snakes.

Good-looking pair of Paras!

Wait, a rainbow try and escape pictures? Never! ;-) Anyway, they came out fine, so need to apologize.

How long have you had them, if I might ask?
