The baron has been in shed for a little while now. I checked on him before I went to bed and he was still dull. Checked on him when I got up and found a 42" long one piece shed in his RUB, that was so fresh it hadn't even dried out yet! Must have missed it by just a couple of minutes! Gutted! lol

On a side note, I picked up 3 more boas at the weekend. A pair of normal hogg island crosses, and 1 female hypo hogg. All BEAUTIFUL snakes. Pics and a proper intro soon. :)

lol OK that's a deal.

I feel bad that they don't get the usual settling period, but I really want to work on the mite problem. So will try a couple of quick pics tomorrow around bath time.

lol I been rumbled! And do feel a bit of a traitor in fact!

In my defence, I was going to hold off introducing them until I get some nice pics to show. But I haven't had a chance yet and couldn't keep it to myself any more! lol

Congrats on the new arrivals. And yes, Brazilians, being nocturnal and secretive, do tend to shed only when not being watched.

is typical of snakes to do that, although I think mine just dont care who watches.

congrats on the hogg crosses and hypo hogg.

Yeah, 4 boas and 3 corns now. Will update my sig at some point! It's fine while they're little, but I have to keep reminding myself I'm going to need to have room for much bigger homes one day! So tempting to buy loads and thinking "well, they only need little tubs"...

My 3 new additions may possibly have come with mites, which I knew beforehand. So they are in quarantine in another room far away from the others and having daily fairy liquid baths for the time being. I'm not even convinced they do have them coz I've seen no real evidence yet, but was advised they might so would rather be safe than sorry! Pics will arrive in due course I'm sure. But trust me, they're GORGEOUS! lol
