Posted - 15/10/2011 : 13:51:56 Agree- defrost in room temperature water to make sure you dont cook the prey item, if you do, you can promote bacteria growth before it's eaten, which could result in a poorly snake. I put mine in warm water once completely defrosted just because unlike CDN, i don't have spare heat lamps around that's purely to help the snake's IR sensors pick it up, and not get my hand!! |

Posted - 15/10/2011 : 13:41:17 Naturally or in luke-warm water is how I defrost mine, and then they spend a few moments under a heat lamp once completely thawed if the snake they're going to requires that. |
