hi can anyone give me some advice on a brb,hes about 9 moths old and for the last couple of months has become very fussy and wont eat regardless wot we try i;e super heatin his food popping the foods brains etc ,,,,,,,,,,,, starting to get a bit frustrated now |

Your first and biggest problem is temps. Brazilian rainbows cannot tolerate levels that high. Make the *max* 27.8C, and provide a gradient all the way down to 22.2C. Do this *right away*, before it causes irreversible damage.
Raise the humidity a bit to 90%.
Hides and traffic sound good.
I assume he has a water bowl large enough to soak in?

hi cliff just to give you a quick update just tried to feed my sons brb and with success thank god were originaly feeding him on rat pups which he did enjoy then like i said wouldnt touch them for love nor money regardless wot i tried ,,,,, now resorted back to pinkies with their brains opened up first one i had to assist feed then he took a second on his own accord and then a 3rd and went into proper feed mode which i was well pleased about however since he hasnt fed for 3-5 wks didnt want to push it and over load him
gonna try again next sun and see if i can get him back into a regular routine

now iam off to feed my red tail pastel boa the greedy bugger (never such probs with her that is lol) |

his temps are about 28 c nite and about 32 day his humidity is always kept around the 85% he has acouple ov hides in his viv plus trees and logs to crawl round and keep him motivated traffic round his viv is kept to a bare min as he is kept by my 18yr son in his room which ***ody realy goes in ive had him down to a reptile shop were hes been checked for r,i but he's been givin the ok in that respect hes still quite active on a nite but apart from the feeding issues theres not realy any more to say about him

Madmack, the first ting to do with a non-feeder is check his environment. What are his temp gradient (high and low), humidity, hiding spots, water bowl access, traffic by his viv, etc.?
