Well Ziggy fed very well tonight, infact enough that I wanted to start a thread.

Oh my gosh. Last time she fed she was a fast striker but this time was incredible!

In all the snakes we have (corns, royals, hognose etc.) I have never seen a strike so fast.

Guessing it's heart just me or are there other species that strike quicker?

Sorry for the post, just really curious that's all.

Paul.

sounds like you have a snake that wants it food!!!

My girl is very fast at striking. I havent noticed that with my other snakes.
And the funny thing is that she doesnt even warn about striking, she just sits still and kaboom, its on. My other snakes follow the mice slowly and get to the s-position but Anima doesnt.
I have always loved that about her, she is vicious ;)

I'm not as familar with other species as this one, but Brazilians can move darn quick when they want to. Guess that means you're serving tasty rats. ;-)

Oops ignore the ' heart' word, my phone added that by mistake or interpreted my heartbeat and thought it a wise addition lol.
