Is a HYPO BRB a brighter orange than a super high orange BRB? Does anyone know where I can purchase the best examples of each from a reputable breeder and what is the cost of each superior example? Thank you all in advance for helping me out.

Taking your questions one at a time....

No, hypos are not necessarily brighter than high oranges. Remember, all hypo means is that the animal displays reduced black pigment. The color comes from different genes. High orange genes can occur in both normal and hypo Brazilians.

For price, a baby Brazilian normal generally goes for $150-200. Lower-end or show-bought animals can go as low as $100, and top picks from premium vendors as high as $400 or more. For hypos, it's much harder to say, as the price has been falling due to oversupply, frequently of less than stellar animals. Your best bet is to read the classified reptile ads in your area and call a few breeders to boot. Where are you located?
