Finally, Living Gems is reaching the scale where we can pick and choose our breeder animals for the next year. We will have ten females large enough to breed this season, from which we will choose eight.

Our eight and final pairing this year puts together Picasso and Tigers Eye in pursuit of a high contrast litter. It is a new pairing, but with a proven male.

Picasso

Arrival

Adult

Picasso is a twice-proven breeder male with a unique dual-orange color scheme who has proven he can “get the job done” two years in a row.

He will be paired with gorgeous first-timer Tigers Eye…

Tigers Eye
…an August 2009 snake supermodel: pretty enough to turn any male head.

Baby

Adult
(Her color is a bit washed out here.)

Weighing in at 2381 grams, she is more than ready to join our breeder ranks.

Given the intense dual-color range they both display, they should throw a litter of remarkably colorful high-contrasts little snakes that truly live up to the name “rainbows.”

If you like what you see in this LGR pairing, or any of our other pairings, please check out our Wait List on our Facebook page.

Thank you, as always, for reading.
