Posted - 15/11/2008 : 14:46:43 I've just been doing my research for the care sheets and I've found a rift in the keeper world over brumation.
Some keepers say to lower the temps like you normally would when brumating any snake, while others say it's dangerous to lower temps for Rainbow boas and you should only shorten the time that it's light.
Has anyone got any experience or theories about this? I don't want to give wrong advice on the care sheets. |

Posted - 16/11/2008 : 08:45:19 That's what I've put. Makes more sense, because I can't see the temperature dropping down to 10 degrees in the rainforest.
Plus I'm guessing low temps make it hard to keep the humidity up, so I don't want to advise something that would make the snake dehydrate and die |
