Anyone planning on breeding this year? If so what are your plans?
Which rainbows are you breeding?

@tango: I have seen some females defensive yes. We take the female out, give her a bath, put her in a new cage. We then retrieve the babies, and they are all put on paper until first shed at which time they go on mulch and are offered their first feed.

I have also seen some females indifferent to their young. Usually they will strike at you when you go to remove her to retrieve the babes though.

Two pairs co-habitating. I separated and fed this weekend, plus cleaned cages. Something must have worked, because one pair was locked this morning. :D

PS: hold thread rez!

My female CRB is about ready to drop. I think any day now she'll give birth. She has been soaking quite a bit recently as well as being very restless. Fingers crossed :)
