Looking forward to the picts! Just remember to test climate for a few days before the move, and give him a week to settle after, before feeding. |

lol Well im pretty sure what happened was I came home after a long day and handled him for about an hour and a half then i put him back Im pretty sure I didn't close his viv fully due to the cords running into it so i think he climbed up the cord and got out that way I'm almost sure that's what happened But I do like your explanation better ha ha |

LOL. Well, lesson learned I guess: always check the lid after handling! Glad he's back and doing well! |

Interesting. Six weeks old seems awfully young to be releasing a snake. They don't usually go anywhere until they've eaten at least 3 or 4 times and are considered established eaters, but since I've never bred Rainbow Boas, who am I to say that's not enough time to establish itself.
If I ever do breed mine, the little ones aren't going anywhere until they're eating readily, and i don't care if it takes them 5-10 years to do that. I'm funny that way, and several other ways |

I know Randy, he's a good guy. My rule of thumb before selling a baby is one shed and three meals, which means six weeks old is not unreasonable (first shed around two weeks, weekly meals). I was sad to miss the show this weekend though, too busy. :-( |
