It's new stock season at Living Gems Reptiles, and over the next few weeks I wanted to share with you some of the exciting new animals that have joined our ranks, both by purchase and (if all goes well!) holdback.

First up is a new, as-yet-unnamed, adult male. One of the *rare* specimens we have not had and raised since birth, he was acquired for the striking contrast between his background and pattern coloration. His age is estimated at six years (though he looks younger to me), and his weight -- as of his very first weigh-in with us this past July -- was 1221 grams.

Here he is as of his early July arrival at Living Gems:

Still in the arrival bag:

Checking out *me* after being freed:

Inspecting his temporary quarantine home:

Newbie, he does indeed have a great head. LOL on the duke comment -- he was surveying his new "lands" for sure!

Todd, feel free to drool at this guy any time. ;-)

He doesn't. ;-) But both for his safety and the safety of the collection, he's got five more months to go. :-)

Roger that! I've been kinda busy buying off lease dell laptops and reselling them retail, taking up a lot of time. I have more time now for the next couple of weeks though to kind of be lazy!
