thanks for asking this question ladyserpent as i have been mulling this over for some time, and thanks for all the answers from eveybody to her question it has put my mind at ease for a bit.
but would like to ask a question when is an adult to old to breed both male and female and is there a reason for this i understand the reason behind living them until they are about 3 to 4 years old.
I don't think there is a set age for "too old," provided the animal is well cared for and has had sufficient breaks/time off during their breeding life. I know one breeder in particular who has animals in their mid to high teens that still produce the occasional litter when bred.
