OMG!! he's eaten!

FINALLY! Dumbo has eaten, and off his own back i might add as i was thinking of having to go down the live route
not sure if it was the house move - to a small tub/RUB, the gerbil - although that hasn't worked before, or me accidentally leaving the gerbil in the viv for 2 days - ok, i wouldn't normally leave anything in that long!

whatever, it's worked

Must be something in the air. The Hoff has eaten his second rat pup in as many weeks. Can't really include Godzilla because he's following in The Mighty Alberto's slimy little footsteps. Nice bowl of raw braising steak and lamb's liver for the scaley dustbin tomorrow

TBH i think it'll be emotionally easier for me if Dumbo actually does the deed (or not??), rather than me...............

got The Hoff eating with rat pups. Might be worth a go if you haven't already tried it.

it's just annoying that he took the gerbil a few weeks ago, nothing's really changed............ apart from his water and his substrate - to fresh!
i've got some tiny rat pinkies, i could give him a try on those (even though he could swallow them sideways and you still wouldn't see them going down!)
as he definitely ate that gerbil a few weeks ago i feel i've got a bit more time to play with before resorting to live. it was his first feed with me and although i was told he ate the week before i bought him i didn't really trust the vendor.

not yet WS, i'd prefer to try and source some frozen if possible first, which is proving difficult!

and looking back on my calendar, yes i've already tried the pinkies/pups but they're worth another go PW
