Do you know if it has it ever eaten? I hope it eats readily for you and beefs-up quickly.

Keep us posted - we love success stories and I'm worried about that one, so I'd love to hear some really good news about it soon

It must have been being fed pinkie mice, and likely only 1 per meal. It's head size in relation to it's body is disproportionate, so I would strongly suggest a decent sized meal ASAP, but not too much that it will get bound-up. It looks very emaciated, so I'm glad to hear it's drinking at least.

Keep us posted and feel free to contact me directly if you feel you need some guidance or anything at all. I'd love to see this thing looking amazing in a couple of months

No problem, we're here to help however we can!

I'd probably start with a fuzzie or hopper mouse. Nothing too large, but larger than a pinkie. The idea would be to just get it's digestive system working again, and make sure it's able to digest and pass a meal without incident.

If it takes the fuzzie or hopper mouse, let it digest that for a few days and once it gets active again and all seems well, I'd probably offer it another one and again let it sit for a few days. Two meals like that will get things processing nicely and from there you'll probably be able to give it two items for the next meal or two. Don't expect it to pass anything from the first one before it's ready to have another, it's likely going to hang on to the nutrients as long as possible - the body knows when it needs to do that.

If all goes well, you'll see growth quickly and you'll know from there what it can take per meal, but I do recommend starting slowly and increasing gradually. If you start too large from such a debilitated state, you can do much more harm than good.

I'm probably not the guy to talk to about feeding schedules, I've never used one, but others certainly do and can give you some advice there.

As long as you start slow with this snake - probably just 1 item to start and let it digest - you'll probably be okay. It's in a weakened state, so it can't take a full belly at the moment.

Once it's eating and you're sure it's going to be fine, it's up to you how much you offer it

Feel free to hit the link in my signature and find my contact info if you need more assistance. It's Friday night and most folks that could give you other valuable info won't be around for a while.
