Hiya, my new boa is fantastic, hasn't been a week yet so no handling- which is killing me
What I'm wondering, is if anyone else's boas hang around the front of the viv around 5pm? I leave for school around 7:30, turning on lights and checking heat at 6:45. Get home at 5pm and so far, I've come home twice to find him stretched like this. Personality quirk? Hungry? Any ideas? lol, just thought it'd be something interesting to post I suppose...

Pics :
Yesterday,

Today, bit late, he was stretched up like before.

To go with this, on the day I got him, at home when transferring him to his viv, I noticed that he kept wanting to move upwards. Up my arm towards my face (aarrgghh!) and in the very top corner of his branch. Somewhere I read that as babies they are almost considered semi-aboreal, but is this anything to worry about?

If a snake stays in the posture shown in the first 2 images for a long time, it can be a sign of a respiratory issue, but the last 2 images look more like it's waiting for food.

Thanks for the reply, he isn't wheezy or showing any signs of a RI, so I assume he was just waiting for food lol! Fed him today so that should sort him out :)
