sorry guys there seems to be a rather large influx of spammers to the site.
We are trying to catch them before they post but doesnt always work that way, while we delete them more seem to be signing up and we are slightly outnumbered and also the times we can get online with the spammers being robots they are permamantly available. I know its a pain in the rear end when you click the active topics and see nothing but nonsense.
The software the site uses doesn't allow spam capture so please just bear with us, we are trying.

| Holy spam influx overnight. 10:1 says they're all coming from the same IP address, so I wonder if there's a way to filter that out, or to add a couple of trusted folk as temporary Mods to help catch these just until they get the idea that they're not going to get through and finally move on. Just a thought :) |
