Hey guys, been toying with some plans of our new living room and I have been granted permission by my missus to build a wall to wall viv at the very end of the room this will work out about 9ft by 3ft with room for as much height as needed.
Now being a reptile nerd like you guys I immediately decided that would mean I get a new reptile (tegu! I immediately thought) but thinking straight I think it only fair I move my 8ft boa out her 7rft viv into something nice. With that much floor space I would love to buy an allbino boa to go with her in there. I know the obvious negative issues with this (record keeping, feeding etc.) but am still toying with the idea.
I originally thought 'great i'll get a male albino and every year i'll get 30 odd babies, will be great' but thinking more carfully about it i'm not sure that's how it works, are males and females okay to cohabit? I know there is a 'risk' of the female being made pregnant but are there any other risks that would make it a smarter choice to get a female to go in with her so I have two girls?
or are there any reasons boa's simply cannot cohabit?
enlighten me please :)

for the very same reason any snakes shouldnt be cohabbing, illnesses passed on, quarantine for when you get the new boa, what will you do when one is poorly or one isnt eating.

Kelf, in all honesty I cant think of one single reason for cohabbing im afraid.

If you have room for as much height as needed could you not just have another 9ft viv on top for an albino to go in? a 9ft double stack!

Aye I could but it's a display viv and I don't want a wooden divide in the middle to ruin the view
