Hi,am new to Rainbows so bear with me!! Is Tagz an Argentine? Does the colouration change much as they get older?(Mine is a one year old Argentine and has very similar colouration to some of your earlier pics of Tagz)
Just checked it out and see "Maurus" means Tagz is a Columbian! (Sorry!) My Argentine it seems is an "Ulvarezi" Only had him a week and no name as yet so may call him Ezi !! |

Tagz did look *very* much like an E.c.alvarezi when she was a young kitten, and as a matter of fact I thought she was, lol. With each shed her colour started changing and within a few sheds it was clear she's all E.c.maurus. She still hasn't reached her adult colouration because she's only 1 1/2 years old.
Your alvarezi won't really change colour much at all. It should look almost identical to how it looks now as an adult, but count yourself lucky because they're not that easy to find :) |

When I first decided I wanted a rainbow boa, I tried to go with a Colombian. I love their rich gray-browns. When my friend got me Marius (Brazilian), I fell in love with the oranges too. Tagz is absolutely beautiful, though, and I agree with Snakesitter....that is one healthy glow! |

Stunning photos, really nice to see some of a Columbian. I too wanted a Columbian but ended up getting a Brazillian first, I now have a couple of young Columbians aswell. |
