Thats what i was hoping for. How sure would you say you are? Pet store has him titled as a " Central American Hypo" which seemed somewhat broad.

I've been at this for 25 years - I'm *pretty* sure. I'm also pretty sure it's unwise to buy a snake you can't identify. Let's hope people do their homework before they jump into something they don't know about because there are some species of boa that look very similar to vipers and finding out which you've just bought the hard way would really suck. It's important to know what you're doing because these things aren't toys.

Just went and picked him up a few days ago. He is a peach!!!

Everything set up:

temps are steady 80 ambient in the warm and 72 in the cold. Heat mat is at 86.
Using a 100 watt bulb with a dimmer to keep my ambients to par.
12/12 light dark ratio.

Substrate is a very thin layer of aspen. Going to switch to a very thin mix of Eco earth and reptibark in the weeks to come.

He shed two days after we got him. All 1 peice. He's 25 inches. First feed went well. Lmk if you would change anything.. So many different ways of doing everything.
