Hey everyone, just want to give a little information as to why i'm joining.
Rainbow boas have been my holy grail of snakes since I first got into the hobby, I never thought I would be getting one (atleast not for a number of years solely due to availability) Turns out it might be closer then I thought.
A Breeder friend of mine acquired a pair last year who have locked and might end up having babies. It is the females first time and we aren't sure if she will produce live offspring (i'm really hoping). As of yesterday she has been laying on her side which I read is a good sign.
I haven't jumped to buying a set up yet as I want to make sure she has babies first but I plan on getting it set up asap if she does have them, I want everything perfect before I bring him/her home.
Anyway thats my story, hopefully will be posting with some lovely pictures soon, i'm more of a lurker so I plan on doing lots and lots of reading :D |

Welcome fellow Canadian! I am also thinking of getting myself the holy grail of snakes. Since dragons, either of the European or Chinese variety, are unavailable right now, I think I will do fine with a BRB! ;)
Silly mood, yes. But wanted to welcome you all the same. |
