This is the first time that this has happened since owning my BCI constrictor, and I'm not quite sure what to do. My Boa has mostly shed her skin, except for a small area on her neck and about half of her face, but the half which is over her eyes and mouth. I have put her in a pillow case over night, a damp one, hoping that she would eventually ease it off, but it's exactly the same as it was before I put her in there. I am aware that the majority of problems occurring with Boa's in captivity relates to their shedding of the skin, so I presume a few of you have come across my problem. Can anyone give me any further advice on what you'd suggest, it's been about a week since she has shed and she shed's roughly once per month. Thanks :) |
