Living Gems is pleased to announce its second litter of the year, the Picasso-Malachite litter, born August 21.

Picasso (Dad)

Malachite (Mom)

The litter was born in the small hours of the morning, so was well dispersed by the time I found them.

Here are some shots as I was headed out the door to work:

Overview

Left Side

Right Side

The pairing produced 22 babies in total -- our largest litter yet. They range from 30 grams to 25 grams, with an average of 28. There were two slugs, no stills, and one baby born with a small yolk sack.

The babies, now one week old, are still gearing up for their first shed. We will have more details as time passes.

Thank you, as always, for your time and support.

Best regards,

Cliff Earle

Sorry, *Picasso* was the sire, not Scarface...for some reason the forum will not let me edit the post. :-(
