As Litter B approaches their first birthday, I am trying to narrow my holdback choice down to one baby.
The final two candidates are both female: Baby 04 and Baby 09. Baby 09 was my original pick, but Baby 04 is giving her a sudden run for her money.
Here are some photos:
Side by side in their drawers (Baby 04 left, Baby 09 right):

Solo Baby 04:

Solo Baby 09:

Solo Baby 04 again…of course she decided to shed the day *after* I took photos, so I had to take them again:

Baby Pile…Baby 04 on the top/left, and Baby 09 on the bottom/right. The former had just shed, the latter had not:

So why is this even close? Because I am shooting for a *red* holdback, and am not entirely sure that Baby 04, despite her promise, will develop that way. (Of course, I’m not 100% sure about Baby 09 as well…)
So…thoughts?

They are both stunning Baby 04 is just gorgeous, her colour is just so vibrant especially so in the photo of them side by side in their drawers. Baby 09 is equally as stunning, her colour is slightly richer IMO but as I have absolutely no clue on how they will develop as they mature I am not a lot of use. All I will say is that I NEED Baby 09 |

Thank you, Blackcat! It's a tough call even for me...but I'll put that down as a vote for 09. ;-) |

You are lucky that the 'pond' is in the way or I would be stealing one of those two from you |

Baby 9 is dark and gorgeous. You know how I feel about those "darker" types. :D :P They're both fantastic, though. |

I went with Baby #04. Baby #09 is still here though, buyer is considering backing out due to tight finances. |
