Hey guys,

I got myself an adorable baby BRB at maidstone - but i'm not brilliant at keeping the humidity high.
He's in a x-large faun atm, and i'm thinking of putting him into a 4L RUB instead? As there are a lot of holes on the faun; so keeping the humidity in isn't good.

I've put kitchen roll as a substrate atm; and will get some orchid bark on tuesday (I have some eco-soil left over from a while ago - so if i put a small layer of that with the orchid bark on top.. Would it make it humid?)
I have 2 hides and a empty toilet roll.. If I put moss in the 2 hides, would it help humidity too?

There's a large water bowl in there on the hotter side.. and I've put a towel over the faun, to try and counteract the holes..

I'll also be getting a digital hygrometer on tuesday, as i only have a crappy dial one.

Sorry for the essay.. I just want to make sure things are good for the little guy, and i'm doing stuff on the rights lines :)

My questions is - RUB or Faun? Eco-Earth with Cypress mulch combo as substrate?

~Thanks!

I used to spray mine once or twice a day (on Orchid bark).

A rub or a faun is okay, but the rub might be a bit more humid. We use a glass tank for ours.

We also use Eco-earth and orchid bark mix on a bed of hypoleca (clay) balls which help with the humidity a lot.

Nice boa- are you sure it's a CRB? because it seems to have a reddish tinge on the colourings. Might just be the photo though
