Look in all the warm places (behind fridge/freezer/tumble drier) etc and in corners of rooms and generally everywhere that it can get. If you buy a bag of flour you can sprinkle it over all the door ways, and around anything with gaps because then if snakie goes through it then it leaves a mark and a trail with a rough direction that it was going.
We do have an instructable for creating a bottle trap as well, which can work really well. http://www.therainbowboa.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=93 Although it's listed as saying 'If your Corn', it is suitable for any snake that can fit inside the bottles.
Aside from that, I can only wish you luck in the hunt, and to tell you to check in washing baskets and things as well.
Along with the flour, you can also put small strips of tin foil down in strategic places (skirting boards, behind telly) because then if it goes over them you stand a chance of hearing it rustle. Whatever you do, DON'T put any form of tape down. There are people that recommend this, but it can cause a lot of damage to the snake. |

Most of us have done the same thing at some point, so I wouldn't worry about it to much. Although I still didn't chuckle. |

Rainbows are brilliant hiders so you are forgiven. I used to have a heart attack at least once a week when Ruby was smaller |
