Did your E.c. Cenchria ever give birth? I thought I remember you saying you were expecting her to drop in Feb sometime, but don't see any pics of it.

Gorgeous looking Assisi by the way. Almost looks like it could be axanthism or hypoerythristic. Not too sure as I'm not as familiar with Caatingas. Don't some people refer to them commonly as Campina Grande Rainbow Boa as well? I believe both Caatingas and Campina Grandes are E.c. Assisi.

I forgot to say what happened to cenchria. rs
Unfortunately the eggs were infertile. There have only been here for births Boa constrictor.
I'll try again this year with another male.

Campina Grande and Caatinga Rainbow are Epicrates assisi. Campina Grande is a city where many are found E. assisi and so many people call them Campina Grande Rainbow, like the Espirito Santo Rainbow (E. cenchria).

It must be awesome to be located there where you can literally go out in your own "backyard" so to speak and find wild specimen.

Thanks for clearing up my confusion between the different ssp. I hear there have been some recent changes to some of the ssp.

Thanks for the link Hygro. I saved a copy to my desktop to get into a bit later on. Seems it's gonna be a pretty difficult read LoL

It's long but good. I understand why they proposed the changes they did...but would still hope breeders hold off on cross-breeding eliminated ssp. until some time has passed, to allow for possible rebuttal. Classifications can change...breeding, once done, cannot.
