good choice wanting a Dum lol i'd like a(nother) Dum too

i think it's cos there's such variety available something new always catches your eye and they're pretty straight forward (especially with regards to time and money) to keep and don't take up a lot of space

generally sooooo chilled out beyond belief as adults but can be snappy as babies but then so can corns!

they're medium-sized and slow growers so you don't need a viv upgrade on a regular basis like with larger boas that grow and mature more quickly. and like Royals they prefer a smallish viv rather than lots of space........especially as they're a quite sedentary species that lie in wait and ambush their prey rather than actively go searching for something to eat

that's what i've got my big girl in, they don't appreciate a huge lot of space and 4'x2'x2' vivs are readily available to buy and straight forward to heat too. i use a 250w Microclimate AHS which initially looks pricey but does have an integral pulse stat and is strong enough to raise the ambient temp in the cool end as very little gradient (only about 5*C) is needed for the Dums

I'm being good from now now- my snake collection is complete! The only snakes I might get would be breeding pair makers

I would like some Crocodile skinks eventually though
