What's the set up like? Is she on eco-earth substrate with springtails? Sometimes I don't see Ruby's poos because if they are small and the custodians get to it first they can eat a small sized poo in a few hours.
If not, maybe take her to a rep shop. They might have something you can buy over the counter that helps. |

Again, just catching up….
Stool retention does occasionally happen with rainbows. It can also, however, be a hidden poop – mine will sometime hide it in a corner or under the substrate, leaving me worried until I find the (long-dried) remnants. Check around before you worry too much.
If you’re sure it is retention (and a fat appearance is a fair sign), Kazerella is 100% right, a bath is the best way to try and resolve it. Munchmat, I see from your last post you tried this (Jono-r, have you?), but what temp was the water and how long did you let him soak? Make the water *slightly* warm and let him soak for a good 30-60 minutes (put a lid on the container if you have to keep him in it).
If you really want to go the distance, gently massage his lower half – though I’ve only tried it once and could not swear by results, I’ve heard other experienced rainbow keepers say that works.
(Munchmat, lol on the oranges.)
