Here is my Brazilian Rainbow Boa, Marius. He's an '09 male. I'm not sure how much he weighs (I don't own a scale), but he is 21.5 inches long as of a few days ago. He's doing wonderful and is my favorite snake.

Beautiful animal, IncurableFlirt! If I might ask, what were his origins? |

Thanks Kazerella. Snakesitter, I got him from my breeder friend here in Utah. He has a pair of BRBs that he breeds from time to time, I believe. I have not seen the parents, so I am not sure on their colors, but I've been very pleased with Marius' colors. He's a wonderful snake...one of my favorites. |

He turned out wonderfully -- great find!
As a general tip for readers, buyers may want to request pictures of a baby's parents, as their quality sets the range for their babies. Good-looking parents usually equals good-looking youngsters. Average-looking parents.... This also helps reward good breeders: it flushes out those (hopefully few) dealers who will buy any litter and resell it regardless of the quality -- these folks almost never think to ask about or communicate the parents' history. (Not saying this applied in your case, just offering a general tip.)
