Jeeeeesus it's -8C here in Loughborough.. Really struggling to keep Vivariums on the healthy side of 28C, I've got everything on full blast and it's 25C!!

I'm going to resort to sticking a hairdryer in there in a minute...

Good news I think my room just had a cold spell as they're all fine on temps now. If they dropped for 3C for half a day it doesn't matter "TOO" mught right??

How far did the air temp go down, and was the heating element in the warm spot providing a higher value throughout?

My main sensor is at floor level next to one of her hides, so I'm not sure what a 3C drop in this temp would translate to in ambient.. However I do have an infrared spot providing a basking spot which WOULD have been a good deal warmer as this doesnt shine onto the sensor directly.. so if she felt a little chilly she had heat available. The heatmat area is also free for her to burrow under if she so wishes!

I'm sure she'll be fine then!

We're actually getting some low temps out here in Los Angeles, we had a few days below 40 degrees outside. I'm taking advantage of it to help with cooling -- hopefully it'll put my adults in the mood! ;-)
