I think I've officially joined the club now.. I was cleaning Jade out today and got tagged for the first time.. Didn't even see it as I was holding her in one hand while opening a door with another.. she apparently got scared by the door, so, naturally, went for my thumb.. Drew blood first time! sharpy little teeth
Anyone fancy share their experiences?? |

Haha congrats! I haven't had a tag like that. I got popped by my brazilian twice, once my girlfriend at the time was holding him and let him get in the lats of a chair and when she stood up it pinched him and I was trying to get him out and he bit me. You should take pics haha. |

I got tagged this weekend as well. Handled every other snake in my collection with no issue, but one juvenile female will bite at random, and this time got me right on the forearm -- then one second later was all friendly again. Her name? "Bixbite." ;-) |

I've had very few. However, the bigger the snake, the harder the impact and the larger the bite. Thankfully, Brazilians never reach a large enough size to do real damage. |

Is it true that BRB's have 100 teeth when adult ? |

Bixbite, apparently, has ten thousand. ;-)
More seriously, send me a reminder on Facebook and I'll see if an old paper has that info. Only source I can think of, unless she wants to pose for me! |
