Just to let you all know that Sissy is settling in really well.

She has even come out a couple of times for a little hold and is a very calm yet curious little boa

I am so pleased with her and find myself just staring at her amazing pattern and end up saying 'wow' alot when the light catches her right and shows off her rainbow sheen.

Also her basic rub setup seems to be working very well. Humidity is holding as are temps. Seems I was stressing over nothing, she is pretty simple to care for

I'm one happy brb owner

Very placid girl :)

Hi Louise, it's great she's doing well!
My girl's buried herself in the plantation soil and is still working through her shed.
I wish I wasn't so impatient! :o)

I decided against the plantation soil in the end as it just seems too messy for my liking. I just use moss now and keep one end of the rub slightly damp and it's working really well and no horrid soil getting under my finger nails or messing up the water bowl :)

Well it was feeding day today and she took her meal with no trouble at all. Great strike and constrict and gobbled it down.

Now just got to leave her a few more days and I can have a propper hold of her. Held her for 5 mins this morning before I fed her and she is so pretty.

Will get some pics in a few days :)

As it is, moss gets all over my living room carpet on cleaning days...I can't even imagine how it would be with soil in every cage!

Looking forward to your picts,
