Congrats. Hope to see some pics of some beautiful babies in the months to come.

All the info I've seen says 110-120 days after the post ovulation shed. This can vary slightly though depending upon temps during gestation. Maybe we can get some more info from those that actually breed the BRB's.

thanks , yeah it would be good to get some info from the 'pros' who breed them regularly . I have bred them twice before but never seen an ovulation so guess it was just a case of hit and miss . I was lucky enough to see both my females ovulate last week and it was spectacular compared to that of the likes of my royals etc . They were massive . I just didnt know if there was an accurate timescale like that of the royals following ovulation ...... that way , i can prepare better this time round for the arrival of babies rather than the 'surprise' i am so used to .

Hi,

I have also been told that the female will be Gravid for around 4-5 months.
I would go by what JKCarter said as i have seen that advise on many care sheets etc...

I am by no means a pro LoL. I've just spent some time now researching and reading through different forums and whatnot. I'm hoping to successfully breed my pair in 3-4 years, they're still babies yet.

Again, just from what I understand though, BRB's ovulation is somewhat reduced in time compared to that of some other boas. It can be as little as an hour or so, so that could be why you missed it before. Good catch on seeing both of them ovulate this go round.

The offical number, as worked out between Dave Colling and Mike Lockwood (and possibly Jeff Clark), seems to be 117 days POS, assuming a hot spot of 81/82 degrees. So you need to watch for that next shed now....
