Posted - 20/08/2010 : 20:13:15 Great picture, Welly. My BRB switches between his moss hide and his warm side water dish, depending on how close he is to shedding. When I first got him, though, he used to spend a LOT of his time in his water dish. Now, he only visits when he's going into shed. |

Posted - 17/08/2010 : 20:33:01 Leon10, rainbows will often spend a day or two in their water bowl, just digesting/relaxing, after a meal -- especially a big meal. The behavior, interestingly, seems to be much more common as the animal ages: almost all of my established adults do it, but very few of my babies.
'Course, they often hang out in there for the other end of the digestive process, too, but cleanup is a different thead. ;-) |
