Skyler gave me a few more grey hairs tonight; just what I needed
I went upstairs to see if any of them wanted to come out and explore, and there was Skyler, completely belly-up with the exception of her head and neck. It's a bit of a shock to see when you're positive the snake cannot possibly be gravid, I'll tell you that much, lol.
I've seen a great many snakes over the years that enjoy lying on their sides (including each of my current Blood Pythons), but I usually only see one belly-up if it's gravid or dead.
I wasn't able to capture an image; she corrected herself as soon as I popped the lid. Just as well, I suppose - I probably would have tripped over my jaw when trying to focus the camera on her...it was on the floor at the time, I'm sure |

My pyrenees likes to lay on her back which is funny. Caught a couple of the mother rats doing it recently too (I raise them now for feeders). Haven't seen any of the snakey's doing it yet, if I do I'll snap a pic. Will do so for the mother rats too if I catch one again! |

she done it deliberately to see your expression, and to write into to humans do the funniest things :D
I have gone that grey recently due to the snakes that it is now cut very short to hide the grey. I just say yes my scalp is that colour |

Todd, that always freaks me out, too. One of the babies I bought last year did that to me...twice. With a new (and young) arrival, it's even more nerve-wracking!!! Glad to hear both she (and you) pulled through. |

That's what I was thinking, lol. She's always resented my interference, but I thought she was getting over that since she's finally given up on trying to eat me for the first few months she was here. Perhaps she's taking it to the next level |
