For Feather's first couple of feeds she showed no interest at all in striking but would eat her rat later on when no one was looking. I don't mind as long as she's eating, so last night I was placing her rat into the faun near her cave when she struck and snatched it from the tongs! She didn't bother to constrict it, just held it for a few seconds and then dropped it and left it alone. Half an hour or so later I looked in and it was gone. She's determined that I'm not going to see her eat!

If she does start strike feeding properly I'll be getting some longer tongs for when she's a big girl!
