Right i fed Bow last night and she decided to coil the ratpup and strike from underwater and when she got grip of the pup she dragged it down under water in her waterbowl throwing coils around it and then also started to eat the pup while underwater is this safe for her to do this i was getting very scared thinking she will drown but then after she ate it she came out of the water bowl and then i offerd her 2nd pup to her and she coiled that one as well .. I have taken a few pics of her from last night and i will get around to uploading the pics on here soon..

So my question is , is it safe for her to feed underwater ..

One of my big females did the same thing last night, with a much larger rodent. It was kind of funny, these rat feet were sticking up out of the water visible over the rim of the tub, with her hovering just under view.
