Hello everyone!
I know a lot of you from The Royal Python forum but for those of you I haven't met I bid thee good afternoon!
My name is Steve, I'd rather you call me Kelf but whatever, I'll be getting my first boa this friday, she is a big 8ft female whom apparently has a wonderful temperament and used to attend school to teach children about snakes :)
I have a few pictures from the previous owner I'll stick up, I believe she's a BCI but I'm no expert, let me know what you think of her :) Any comments are welcome as I've no idea what a healthy 8ft boa constrictor should look like :)
Thanks for your time :)

Welcome Kelf! Always glad to welcome another convert to the rainbow boards. You realize it's (hopefully!) only a matter of time before we talk you into getting a little Brazilian sister to the beautiful big girl above.... ;-)
She looks great, by the way! How did you happen to acquire a teaching snake? |

A chap over on TRP was thinking of buying her, he linked the advert for us to see and snuck in quick and stole it.
Nah I'm kidding, he backed out as he wanted a baby and I asked if I could buy the snake instead, he said sure. She was being advertised for a quick sale on preloved as the owner needs to get rid of all his snakes to empty a room. |
